Decision Points

  • Whether the current time belongs to preparation, active production, or a stop.
  • Whether the job should use an existing assignment or a live immediate order.
  • Whether an unplanned operation should be assigned directly to the machine.
  • Whether to continue when another assignment is already running.

Expected Result

The machine timeline, interval list, and production records reflect what happened on the floor, including recorded material and work scrap.

Common Problems and Edge Cases

  • Users may need to stop an interval before switching to a different one.
  • Missing produced, scrap, or reason details can leave the production story incomplete.
  • A live issue may need both a timeline reason and a support ticket.
  • Recorded total production includes submitted scrap quantities.
