Why does my report show Revision 3 and Version 2?
Revision 3 means the report was rebuilt with newer data and is now in its third state. A new revision appears when an automatic check or Rebuild with current data finds changes. Every scheduled report is checked automatically once, 3 days after it was sent. If the data changed, the report gets a new revision. If nothing changed, it stays as it is. As an Administrator, you can also select Rebuild with current data at any time.
Version 2 beside the period identifies the layout. Each person chooses Version 1 or Version 2 in their profile under Newsletter report version. The two numbers are independent. Point to either for an explanation. A report that has never been updated shows no revision line. See Report Archive.
Will I get another email when a report is rebuilt?
Emails already sent are not sent again. Administrators can download the latest revision from Report archive. Follow download or update an existing report.
Why is the last check time missing from my report?
Last checked is hidden when the check and update show the same minute. It appears when a later check found nothing new. See Report Archive.
Where can I find a report I requested earlier?
Only Administrators can open Report archive. Other users do not see it. Open Reports in the side menu. At the top of Timeline Analysis or Trend Analysis, select the archive button with the tooltip Report archive next to the Timeline / Trend switch. Filter by period, machine, and source. Select By user for requested reports or Scheduled for scheduled reports. Broaden the filters if nothing appears. Follow Download and Update Reports.
Why is my report not ready to download?
Queued means it is waiting to be created; Building means creation is underway. If creation takes longer than usual, return to the archive later if you have archive access. Otherwise, try the export again later. Download the available file once it is Ready. See Report Archive.
How do I include corrected production entries in an old report?
Select Rebuild with current data. The archive tells you whether the report changed and shows its revision and update time. If the check finds no changes, it says so. Follow Download and Update Reports.
Have I lost my report if the update fails?
No. The previous revision remains available after a failed refresh. Check its revision and update time, if shown, before using it and try the refresh again. See Report Archive.
Does “Not emailed” mean my report failed?
No. Not emailed describes delivery, while Ready means the report is available. Scheduled weekly and monthly reports can be emailed; the archive shows how many emails were sent. See Report Archive.
Can I still receive a scheduled report I missed?
After a delivery problem, the Watchmen team can manually resend the latest scheduled weekly report for the last completed week, the latest scheduled monthly report for the last completed month, or both. Only recipients missed by the failed delivery receive it; anyone who already received the report gets no second email. Redelivery is not automatic, and customers cannot start it themselves.
Ask an administrator to download the ready report from Report archive, or contact the Watchmen team if the email did not arrive. See Report Archive.
What does Version 2 add to my report?
Version 2 starts with what needs attention and adds figures beside targets, shift comparisons, cycles and cycle times, downtime reasons, and orders and operations worked on. Each machine keeps its own page. Recent weekly and monthly reports also include planned work for the next 7 days. See Report Versions.
How do I get the new report or switch back?
Open your profile → Newsletter Preferences card → Newsletter report version, select Version 2 or Version 1, and choose Save Preferences at the top right of the card header. Your weekly and monthly subscriptions use that version from the next report. You keep Version 1 until you choose and can switch back at any time. Follow choose your email version.
Can I see an example before changing anything?
Yes. In your profile or the export dialog, choose a version tab and use Download an example under What you get. The workbook uses made-up data and follows the selected version. German interface users get a German example; other interface languages get English. Downloading an example does not save a preference. See Report Versions.
Why are there two attachments in the Version 2 introduction email?
The first attachment is last week's report; the second is last month's. Both use Version 2, contain your own machines and figures, and are in your language. The email names both periods, for example 26/10–01/11/2026 and October 2026. Receiving them does not change your preference. Follow choose from the introduction email.
Does opening the link in the introduction email change my report?
No. You must also confirm Get the new version (Version 2) or Keep my current report (Version 1) on the page that opens. No sign-in is needed for that confirmation. Receiving the introduction reports alone changes nothing. Follow choose from the introduction email.
The report choice link has expired. What should I do?
The choice links in an introduction email you may receive are personal and expire after 60 days. An expired link shows This link has expired. You can choose the version in your profile. Select Open my profile, sign in if asked, and open the Newsletter Preferences card → Newsletter report version. Choose a version, then Save Preferences at the top right of the card header. This also works if the link is invalid or incomplete. See User Profile.
Can I try Version 2 for one export and keep my usual emails?
Yes. Choose Version 2 under Report version in the export dialog on the Timeline Analysis page. It starts with your latest saved email preference, but your choice there applies only to this export. Follow create an export.
Why is planned work missing from my Version 2 export?
Exports contain the orders and operations worked on in the selected period and have no Up next sheet. Use a recent weekly or monthly Version 2 report for the outlook. That outlook keeps the plan from the first creation, even if you rebuild the report later. See planned work in email reports.
Why are there two reports for the same period in the archive?
Scheduled reports in both versions can appear when subscribers choose different versions. Version 2 beside the period marks a report in the new version. Rows without it are Version 1. Each person receives their chosen version in one report email per week or month. Switching in the middle of a week does not cause a second email. See Report Archive.
Why do some averages differ from the old overview?
Version 2 averages only days with planned time and data, then gives each machine equal weight in the company average. Days without planned shifts do not lower the result. Version 2 also includes time in a machine state that is still continuing, as the platform views do. See targets and averages.
Why are cycles, shifts or orders missing from my report?
Version 2 includes sections when the relevant records exist. Without cycles, it omits cycle figures and explains why. With fewer than 5 intervals of real operations in the period, excluding test orders, there is no orders sheet or order figures. Without shifts, it omits the shift overview with a note. See report limits.
What does production without an order mean?
Production without an order is production time during which no interval of an operation was running on the machine. Version 2 counts stretches of at least 5 minutes, using the same rule as Improve intervals. A day’s hours never exceed its production time. A machine’s chart bar and Without order (h) value turn orange at both 20% of its production time and 2 hours; it is also listed under What needs attention and In focus. See production without an order.
Why can’t I see production without an order in my report?
These figures appear only in Version 2 and only if your company recorded at least 5 intervals of real operations in the report period, excluding test orders. Below that minimum, Get more out of this report with the PDA page on the first page explains the limited PDA use. Work centers are never included. A missing section does not mean every production hour was covered by an interval. See production without an order.
How do I check which production has no interval?
Open the machine’s page in a Version 2 report and read Longest stretches without an order after Day by day. It lists up to five stretches, longest first. Check which work took place. With machine access, you can use Improve intervals on a day with recorded intervals to compare times with machine activity. You cannot yet add a new interval for a past time. If the time belongs to an operation immediately before or after it, you can extend that operation’s existing interval. Follow review production without an order.
Why does a work center have no OEE in the report?
A work center has no sensor, so Version 2 shows only its operations, from their intervals. It has no OEE, availability, performance, machine states or cycles anywhere in the report. It is also excluded from production without an order.
Open Summary → Work centers, after the machine table, for operations, completed operations, orders, Production in intervals (h), preparation hours when present, produced quantities and scrap. Click a name to open its page with a purple tab and the same work-center icon as on the platform. Read Operations worked on, Orders worked on, Production time in intervals, Produced and Operations on this work center. These hours come from operation intervals, not sensor measurements.
Below the report’s five-interval minimum, the Summary → Work centers row and the work center’s page show PDA page barely used in this period. Once the minimum is met, a work center without operations shows No operation intervals in this period in the row and This work center has no operation intervals in this period. on its page. Follow review work centers in a report.
Why are energy columns missing from Day by day?
The values are in All data. When the main downtime reason would not fit in Day by day, Version 2 first leaves out the daily wasted energy column, then the energy column. A note below the table says Wasted energy per day is in the "All data" sheet. or Energy per day is in the "All data" sheet. See Report Versions.
Why does my report say “Get more out of this report with the PDA page”?
Version 2 needs at least 5 intervals of real operations in the report period to show order figures and production without an order. Test orders and earlier periods do not count. With fewer intervals, including none, Get more out of this report with the PDA page on the first page explains what is missing. Start and stop your actual work on the PDA page to record it. Up next can still appear in email reports. Follow check missing order figures.
Why are my test orders missing from the report?
Version 2 excludes test orders from all order lists and counts, including Up next and the five-interval minimum. It recognises “test” in the order, customer or product name, such as “TEST-01” or “Testauftrag”; names such as “Contest” or “Testo” remain included. Test-order intervals still cover machine time, so they do not create extra production without an order. See test orders.
Can I add an interval for production that has already happened?
You cannot yet add a new interval for a past time. Improve intervals lists production without an order for review. If the time belongs to an operation immediately before or after it, you can extend that operation’s existing interval by adjusting its start or end. Check what actually happened first. Follow review production without an order.
Why is the main downtime reason missing from the summary table?
Version 2 gives machine names more room in Summary. If the main downtime reason column still cannot fit, it is left out with the note The main downtime reason of each machine is on its own page and in the "Downtime" sheet. Very long machine names can still end in “…”. See readable report tables.
