Why does my shift start and end on its own?

Active shift starts a shift when the machine begins idle, production, or preparation. Before Minimum shift length is reached, only a stop reaching Stop that ends a shift ends it. Afterward, the first stop ends it. Maximum shift length starts a new shift even if work continues. Administrators control these settings. See Machine Configuration.

Does a lunch break end an active shift?

Before the minimum shift length is reached, a stop shorter than the configured stop length stays inside the shift and counts as off time. A stop reaching that length ends the shift. Once the minimum is reached, the first stop ends it. See active shift settings.

What happens to my shift plan when I turn active shifts on or off?

Switching on removes scheduled shifts from today onward but keeps shifts already recorded today. The shift group stays assigned and unused. Switching off ends the running active shift immediately and creates scheduled shifts from the group from today. An administrator should check the group before switching back. Follow Configure a Machine.

Why can I not save the active shift times?

All three durations must be in hours greater than 0. Neither Minimum shift length nor Stop that ends a shift may exceed Maximum shift length. The maximum is 24 hours. See Machine Configuration.

Why is there no product picture next to the machine in Hall Plan?

The display needs Product information → On and an active order whose product has an image. Without an image, that product display stays hidden. The operation sequence appears in the order card instead. Follow Set Up a Hall Plan Display.

Where did the operation number and priorities go in Hall Plan?

With Product information → On and a product image, the operation sequence (#) appears beside the machine image with the product. With Off, or without an image, it appears in the order card. Order and operation priority always stay in the order card. See Hall Plan.

Why do I see planned shifts while my machine uses active shifts?

Waiting for the next active shift means the next shift has not started. Until the machine begins idle, production, or preparation, planned shifts from the assigned group are shown. This does not switch the machine back to scheduled shifts. See Machine History.

How do I check only certain shifts in machine history?

Select the shifts you want to review. The charts follow that selection, including active shifts. Open the shift details to check their times, or choose Whole day for the full day. Follow Review Machine History.

Why can I not change how often Hall Plan switches to orders?

Key figures / orders switch is available only while Active order is shown. Its maximum is half the page-switch time; shortening the page switch also limits this setting. An administrator can adjust the display. Follow Set Up a Hall Plan Display.

Which orders appear when Hall Plan switches away from key figures?

The order view shows orders worked during the shift. No orders worked in this shift explains an empty view. Administrators control the alternating display with Key figures / orders switch. See Hall Plan.

Why don't I see the downtime reason in Hall Plan?

The Downtime reason card appears only in V2 or V3, on the first slide at the end of the machine's key figures. The machine must be idle or off, and the machine operator must have chosen a reason for the current downtime on the PDA page. It is absent during production and from the previous shift. V1 does not show it.

If your hall's display settings were saved before this option was added, an administrator must enable Visible columns → Downtime reason once for each display version you use. The choice is saved automatically for the hall and display version as soon as the administrator ticks or clears the checkbox. Halls whose display settings have never been saved show it by default. Follow Set Up a Hall Plan Display.

How do I give breaks a reason automatically?

As an administrator, open Admin Panel → Configure Shifts and Scheduling → Shifts, then Break settings directly left of Add Shift. Enable Label breaks automatically, choose the mode and select Save. Then edit each shift and choose a Downtime reason for each break. Machines using Active shift are not labelled. The machine must offer the break’s reason. Follow set up automatic break labels.

Why is the break’s downtime reason greyed out?

Label breaks automatically must be on and saved before you can choose a reason. The choice is also unavailable while settings load or if loading fails. Open Break settings, turn on Label breaks automatically and select Save, then edit the shift again. Turning the switch off keeps saved break reasons but hides them in the table. See Break Settings.

Why has my break not received a reason?

A running downtime is not labelled yet; allow a few minutes after it ends. A person’s choice is kept. Check that the switch is on, the break has a reason offered on the machine, and the machine’s shift group schedules that shift on the day of the downtime. Active shift does not use fixed breaks. The downtime must overlap the actual break, not just its tolerance. Earlier completed downtimes stay unchanged. See limits and warnings.

Does tolerance label every stop near a break?

No. The downtime must overlap the actual break. With a 9:15–9:30 break and 5 minutes of Tolerance, downtime from 9:00–9:50 gets the break reason from 9:10–9:35. A stop ending at 9:12 gets no break label. Tolerance applies only to Label only the break (recommended). See Break Settings.

How do I turn automatic break labels off?

An administrator can open Break settings, turn off Label breaks automatically, then select Save. Stored break reasons remain, but the table hides them and their choices are greyed out. Follow set up or stop automatic break labels.
